Seeing Through Light: The Intimate Narrative
Curated by WANG Yaoli November 4 - 19, 2023 伯年艺术空间欣然宣布，将于2023年11月4日（星期六）推出群展“夜，是关于光的叙事”。展览由 王垚力担任策展人，参展的十二位艺术家包括： 陈皓轩、 高郁韬、 葛雅静、 何海昱、 吉一玮、 柯家俊、 孔慧东、 李非凡、 刘唯一、 栾晓晨、 尹子昂、 曾臻，共展出二十八件架上绘画与收藏级艺术微喷作品。本次展览将在 上海M50创意园展出，展览持续至11月19日。 九月的随笔 夜里，在回家的路上。老小区要比公寓的周围安静很多，不敢相信这里是在城市中，更像走在村儿里不是吗？我享受被黑夜的宁静包裹，同时不解自己为何并不惧怕这可以吞了人的黑暗。想到海子在《黑夜的献诗——献给黑夜的女儿》中所写“…黑雨滴一样的鸟群，从黄昏飞入黑夜。黑夜一无所有，为何给我安慰…”想说我就是单纯喜欢夜晚吧，这没什么特别的。可想到这里，我突然意识到自己的目光始终没有从那些被路灯映照着，而散发出落日般温暖的物体上移开。直到最后，我还是被光吸引了，还有那晚的月亮和星星。 ——策展人 王垚力 展览“夜，是关于光的叙事”，以艺术美学中极为重要的主题之一“光”作为串联作品的线索。展出来自十二位艺术家的二十八件新近作品，分别从哲学与神话、戏剧与艺术、历史与文献、记忆与情感等不同引发艺术家创作与思考的面向入手，围绕人们感知“光”的能力和体验，探讨当代绘画与影像创作中独特的叙事语言和风格表 现。 展览所探讨的“光”，不仅包括“光”作为艺术创作的重要组成，即艺术家通过绘画或摄影的方式对其进行直接的描绘或间接的映衬；还将借由展出的二十八件作品从感知层面出发，为“光”作为一种意象的存在，去提供理解诗意（poetic）和共情（empathy）的特殊路径。 陈皓轩 的《卡布里岛的猫咪》延续使用了贯穿其创作中指代自身或他者的符号“黑猫”，以“黑猫”为情感的缩影，记录了他旅行于卡布里岛期间，有关亲密关系的遗憾与彷徨；高郁韬的《达摩克利斯之石》系列作品，通过对机械扫描的主观介入，赋予了历史雕像向上生长的动态。借由对神话中经典的形象的塑造，再次探讨神、人，和命运的关系这一永恒不衰的哲学主题。 葛雅静的《暮色剧场》和《穿透紫雾，共赴何处》，是她思考在时间的更迭下，生命终将从华美走向衰败的极具诗意和对抗力量的表达；何海昱的创作基于自身情绪的变化和对荒诞图像的“再处理”，展出的三幅作品《夜猫子》《夜行》《藏猫猫》以日记式的创作契机，记录了她生活在南方城市夜游时的所见所感。 通过绘画的方式，吉一玮将现实与荒诞杂糅在一起，《惘猎图》中不同身份的人物形象，被不具名的力量安放在充斥着现实主义的奇幻色彩之地；柯家俊用灰白构建的“小花园”中，富有神性的《交柯》之树成为了揭示“二元”关系最具代表性的特殊象征；与此同时，孔慧东的《鸽子》也用隐喻的方式，揭示了在意识与观念中处于无形又时刻存在的对立关系；李非凡的《Game Over》是对童年记忆重新的编排和重组，在真实却并不符合常理的场景中，引发我们对生命体验的再次思考。 喜爱描绘虚构爱情关系的刘唯一，在《吻》中通过描绘亲吻的两人嘴部的细节，表现了人对爱情的向往，亲吻的动作同时带有一种想象，即一方向另一方主动的靠近，与身体的前倾；《对别处的研究（32个格子）》是栾晓晨“对别处的研究”系列创作的第二张作品，这一系列基于他对历史真实图像和家乡记忆之间的长期研究。这件作品涵盖着跨越异国距离、历史时间、物理与抽象空间等多种维度的错位与统一，“32个格子”则对应在创作这幅作品时，艺术家自身人生的32岁。 游走在抽象与具象间，世俗和精神性共存在画面之中，尹子昂的笔触有着难以捉摸的暧昧之感。动物和植物是他常常描绘的象征物，在《野柠檬》这幅作品中，尹子昂画下了曾有一面之缘的少女，背景里的叶子和花改变了它们该有的形态，他将亲手摘下的绿柠檬放在女孩手中，成为整张画面最迷人的点缀；曾臻的创作以超现实化的视觉图像作为绘画主要构成来源。在作品《劲止》中，静态的水纹透映出闪动的龙鳞，又或是晃动的龙身搅扰了平静的水面，半抽象的画面弥漫着严酷而克制、以静而动的冷张力。 Read more -
