BONIAN SPACE is pleased to announce the upcoming group exhibition Prelude to the Backflow from June 3rd to June 29th, 2023. Curated by Wang Yaoli, the exhibition will feature more than thirty paintings by the artists Bai Mengfan, Chen Haoxuan, Gong Yijie, Guo Qikai, Ray Hwang, Huang Baoying, Timon YC I, Kong Huidong, Li Jun, Luan Xiaochen, Ning Wenhai, Pei Jitong, Sun Yan, Tang Shuo, Yin Zi’ang, Yu Haijun, Zhu Yizhou who have studied or are now studying in Austria, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Japan.
 

Continuing to pay attention to the works of international and local vibrant emerging artists with a global perspective, the group exhibition Prelude to the Backflow is an important group exhibition curated after the large-scale international young artists' group exhibition season "Light Palette Through Time and Space" initiated by BONIAN SPACE in Beijing Cao Chang Di International Art Village in 2022. The exhibition's title Prelude to the Backflow, points to the status and identity of the artists participating in the show and their reflections on the relationship between their thinking of the works and the external environment for further questioning and discussion. Growing up in an era of diverse educational backgrounds and multi-culture, how will they respond to the present and unpredictable future?
